Siftree Pipeline vs Unify: turn buying signals into the next account
Compare Siftree Pipeline and Unify for signal-led account research, qualification, CRM context, and the transition from evidence to outbound.
The short answer
Should you choose Siftree Pipeline or Unify for signal-led prospecting?
Prioritize Unify when you want an AI outbound platform combining research, signals, plays, and sequencing for sellers. Consider Siftree Pipeline when your priority is a custom public-data research task with explainable qualification and a CRM handoff. Both connect signals to prospecting work. Test the same account-selection rule, inspect its evidence, and then evaluate the outreach operations your team needs separately.
Start with the event and the action it should cause
Unify and Siftree Pipeline both connect research to sales work. Siftree's product workflow joins public events to companies, checks CRM exclusions, scores fit, finds buyers, and prepares an evidence-backed handoff. Unify deserves evaluation when the same purchase also needs a configured signal-to-sequence operation.
Unify's web-intent guide explains page-specific audiences and a CRM/form-driven follow-up pattern. Person-level identification has prerequisites, such as identification through forms, email links, or authentication. A website visit should not automatically be treated as a known buyer or a confirmed purchase decision.
Plays introduce real operating choices
Unify documents continuous, manual, scheduled, and external Play triggers. Previously processed contacts are not automatically reconsidered after a Play edit; periodic re-evaluation needs a retrigger setting. The guide also warns that CRM changes and Play evaluation can race, so a newly opened opportunity may not yet be reflected in exclusions.
| Operating question | Siftree Pipeline | Unify |
|---|---|---|
| Why this account? | Requested public-event rule and ICP explanation | Signals, audience rules, and research feeding a Play |
| What happens next? | Buyer enrichment and CRM handoff with drafted outreach | Configured routing and sequence enrollment |
| What needs maintenance? | Source dates, identity rules, qualification and exclusions | Triggers, re-runs, routing, enrollment rules and sync timing |
| What can silently fail? | Wrong company, stale evidence, incorrect exclusion | Qualified contact blocked from enrollment or stale exclusion data |
These are priorities to test, not claims that either product exclusively supports signals or exclusions. Decide who investigates a missing account and who owns a contact that qualified but never entered a sequence.
Proposed pilot: a signal arrives during a CRM change
Use a real target segment, a documented trigger, and accounts representing customers, open opportunities, net-new prospects, and recently changed owners. In a controlled evaluation, introduce the relevant CRM change near a trigger run and inspect the eventual behavior. No such test has been performed for this article.
Require a source date and company match for every accepted signal. Count false qualifications separately from failures to route a valid account. Trace excluded accounts to the actual rule, then check whether a delayed sync or re-run produces duplicate seller work. Require the CRM owner and protected fields to survive the handoff. For Unify, inspect execution logs and enrollment reasons rather than using sent-message count as a proxy for qualification quality.
Agree acceptable detection latency, missed accounts, duplicate handoffs, and reviewer minutes before the evaluation. Repeat after editing a qualification condition; check whether the historical audience is reconsidered as intended.
Match the plan to the workflow
At the October 20, 2026 review, Unify's pricing page lists Base at $20 per seat per month with 800 credits and Pro at $60 with 2,400 credits, billed monthly. Pro lists read-only HubSpot and Salesforce sync. Business uses a custom annual quote and lists read-write CRM sync, website intent, and signal-triggered automation. Do not budget an automated CRM-writing Play using only the entry seat price. Confirm credit consumption and the intended features in the proposal.
Prioritize Unify for the configured outbound motion when its signals and enrollment controls suit the team. Evaluate Siftree for a recurring account-selection task whose main deliverable is a defensible CRM handoff. Request private-beta terms for the same source mix, cadence, buyer lookups, and actions; comparable operating costs are not established.
