Aggregate Social Protocols
We'll point to servers on social protocols such as AT Protocol, Nostr, Farcaster, and ActivityPub.

Aggregate Forums
We'll point to forums across the internet (respecting robots.txt). This will increase the diversity of content Siftree will have, spanning across sports, news, and pop-culture to the niche and topic-focused corners of the internet. With the combination of servers using social protocols + thousands of forums, Siftree will create a decentralized social media experience, rich with content across all domains, all of which we do not own, but simply point to.

Open API
We'll create a cheap and easy to use API for developers to build apps and analytics tools on top of the world's conversations. We'll have a few endpoints developers can try out, such as a topics endpoint (query/search topics + documents) and a RAG endpoint (ask questions/receive answers grounded in real-time conversations).

Custom Recommendation Systems
Once we've aggregated a rich source of content, we'll create a customizable recommendation system users can configure themselves. Essentially, this allows users to build their own "algorithmic feeds" on top of the open web.

Privacy-Forward Auth
We'll implement the Nostr authentication process into our sign-in flow, enabling people to maintain their privacy with a public and private keypair. We need a form of authentication to protect us from abuse, but we don't want to do that at the expense of your privacy (needing an email). Nostr keypairs solve this problem.

Replacing Sentiment Analysis
Sentiment analysis has been the industry standard for a decade, but when you talk to anyone technical - the people who build/analyze social data - they all agree it's BS. Sentiment measures tone, not intent. We plan on creating a new classification model that combines elements of emotions, sub-topics, and stance/endorsement. This will provide much better accuracy for our enterprise customers, enhancing things like consumer insights, market research, and product feedback analysis.
